Brief
Launceston Church Grammar School enlisted us to build a new digital hub to embody their new brand and act as a central location for all digital touchpoints with their existing school community and prospective parents and students. The brief was to create a website which would house their school events, online newsletter, school news and publications as well as act as a marketing tool to prospective families. A custom booking system for school tours was also integrated into the website. Launceston Church Grammar School shared IGNITE’s approach to collaborative and continuous improvement, allowing us to take on a phased approach to launching the website, with the blog, calendar, and custom tour booking system, followed by the newsletter and custom integrations in order to nurture leads with email marketing through Hubspot.
Goals
Key to the project was the inclusion of Launceston Church Grammar’s engaged community of parents and alumni, which we included for user insights at several stages of the process from conception through design, to launch. The feedback of the community was essential to the success of the project, and a number of stakeholder surveys allowed us to gain feedback on the website as we progressed through the stages of design. Clear communication to the user of The Launceston Grammar Identity was the highest priority goal of the project, which we achieved by adapting the new brand to a digital context, and working with the School to develop a clear structure for the information architecture of the site, then scoping out the addition functionality which was required to meet the School community’s needs.
