Beaconhills College is an open-entry, co-educational College offering outstanding education opportunities from Early Learning to Year 12. With their holistic education philosophy, Beaconhills College ensures every student can learn to be a ‘shining light’ in their future lives. Through their six pillars of Learning That Matters, the college commits to a Learning Mindset, the Environment and Sustainability, their Global Community, Citizenship and Service, Wellbeing, and Values and Character in all aspects of their approach to education.
The College’s existing website was outdated and not an accurate reflection of their progressive curriculum, teaching methodologies or facilities, affecting the brand’s perception. Furthermore, the new website needed to be easy to use and convey the College’s point of difference to prospective families. Using our expertise in custom-built websites, we crafted a digital solution specifically tailored to Beaconhills, to deliver an engaging online experience that will service the College for years to come.

Beaconhills College required a new website to convey their authenticity and purposeful approach to teaching and learning whilst also helping drive enrolments and attract talented staff. We worked with the College to create a sitemap which considered a clear user journey for prospective parents, showcased the curriculum by school area and presented a diverse range of content to help engage with their existing community. Within the news and events section we highlighted publications for current and prospective families to download and created a feature section the custom blog feed of Latest News.
“When looking to redevelop the College’s website, our central marketing platform, we saw it as an opportunity to invest in a digital solution and to build a competitive edge.
We were looking for a creative web design company who we could build a good working relationship with and ideally continue working with post launch. In simple terms our aim with the new website was to attract and engage enrolments and talent. In addition we wanted to improve the user experience, be authentic to Beaconhills College, streamline workflow and importantly gain greater insights and analytics to make informed marketing decisions.”
An overarching priority for the project was to convey the authentic feeling of ‘Being Beaconhills’. We utilised emotive imagery and impactful short videos across the homepage and subpages in order to give users a sense of being at the College. The bold design also helped achieve the goal of evoking a playful and inviting but trustworthy feeling to bolster the College’s brand. Secondary goals for the project were to attract prospective families by communicating to them what the College is about and the Beaconhills approach to learning through a smooth user experience, as well as using this message to help attract teachers and quality staff to the school. The suite of the modules built was designed to allow the greatest flexibility for internal staff who were to manage the site going forward. Detailed training videos were provided in order to ensure a seamless transition from launch to maintenance, allowing the College easily update content and create new pages as required post-launch.
